DOCUMENTS

Yemen requires shipping documents to be legalized.  

The minimum requirements for any shipments to Yemen are that a Commercial Invoice and Certificate of Origin must be legalized at the Consular Section of the Embassy here in Washington DC. In order for the document to be recognized by the Embassy, it first needs to be certified by the National US Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC).

PROCEDURE

Please complete the attached order form and send along with your documents to WCS.   If you have filed a power of attorney with us you may send documents to us electronically as attachments through our on-line ordering system.

If you are sending us the originals they must be signed or notarized, please also include 3 copies of each.     
  
The Legalization process at the Embassy usually takes about 10 business days.
 
Customers should include their own return airway bill or account number issued by DHL, UPS or FedEx with the document, along with a check or credit card information for payment of legalization fees.   For individual orders please complete your credit card number on the form.

FEES

The fees for obtaining legalization are as follows:  

Yemen Embassy Fees (Charged by the Embassy for legalization)

Certificate of Origin - $100 per document
Commercial Invoice- $100 per document
Other shipping documents - $100 per document

NUSACC Fee

Certification by NUSACC - $25 per document

Additional Fees

WCS Notary - $5 if necessary
WCS fee - $40
Money Order - $10 Embassy requires payment by money order
Copy fee - $1 per page if we need to make copies
Messenger fee - $20         
Expedited - $30 - WCS rush service – if possible
