			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Corporations Division, Department of Consumer &amp; Regulatory Affairs of DC has made the announcement that they are no longer mailing pre-printed reports to customers who are due on their 2-year reports. All customers are encouraged to file their reports using the DCRA&#8217;s website. The online feature of filing will be launching in mid-April.  To facilitate this new process and online report filing, the DCRA extended the deadline to e-file till May 16<sup>th</sup> 2011. Late fees will not be charged for any reports that we receive by mail / in-person / by e-filing before this deadline.  For all corporations who are due their 2-year reports in 2011, WCS will be mailing and emailing all customers the notice issued by DCRA.</p>

<p>In March 2011, the Republic of Angola has ceased to offer any Consular Services at their Embassy in Washington, DC. All Consular operations, including document legalization and consular authentication services, have been moved to the Consulate of Angola in New York City.</p>
<p>Washington Consular Services is still able to assist with your Angola document legalization needs. Continue to submit your documents for Angola legalization as before. WSC will obtain the U.S. Department of State Certification and will facilitate legalization of your documents through the Angola Consulate in New Your City.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Consulate General of Costa Rica Payment Change for Document Legalization</span></p>
<p>As of February 1, 2010, the Consulate General of Costa Rica announced a change to their Consular Service payment policies.  Costa Rica document legalization requests must now be accompanied by MONEY ORDER only.  No personal or business checks accepted.  Please make certain the Money Order is payable to the CONSULATE of COSTA RICA.  For documents authentication request submitted to WCS, the Money Order payment will be made on your behalf and invoiced upon completion.</p>

<p>In August of 2009, the Dominican Republic became a signatory nation to the Hague Convention of 1961.  As a result, Apostille is now the standard for a legal document to be used in Dominican Republic.  The Embassy of the Dominican Republic no longer provides Consular Authentication services.  Please send your documents destined for the Dominican Republic to Washington Consular Servcies for 1-Day Apostille service.</p>
